What if my dog is 9kg?
Airlines are very strict. If you arrive at the airport and your dog plus bag weighs 8.1kg, you will be denied boarding. We cannot make exceptions to airline safety rules.
Can I buy an extra seat for my dog?
No. Commercial airline safety rules dictate that pets must remain in a carrier bag under the seat for takeoff and landing. If you want your pet on the seat, please choose our Shared Private Jet option.
Do I have to go to 'Doggy Jail' when we return to Malaysia?
We manage the entire Home Quarantine application process for you. Our goal is to ensure you skip 'Doggy Jail' and head straight home with your human. You get to sleep in your own sweet bed, and your human gets to sleep with total peace of mind.
What is a Shared Charter?
Sometimes a traveler charters a PawssengerAir flight and there’s extra room. That’s when we open up seats to other pups (and humans) headed the same way! Shared Charter flights are crowdsourced, so a minimum number of bookings is required to confirm the flight.
Minimum Not Met? If the flight doesn’t fill, we notify everyone so alternate plans can be made. You’ll get either a full refund or alternative flight options.
How does my human book a Shared Charter?
Have your human visit our Shared Charters page to see available flights and pick the perfect one using our booking widget.
To hold a spot, your human must either pay a deposit or purchase the ticket in full at the time of reservation. If a deposit is made, the remaining balance must be paid within 30 days of booking and no later than 3 months before departure.
Heads up: if the balance isn’t paid on time, the deposit and reservation may be forfeited. Ticket prices can change, and are only guaranteed once full payment is received.
How will my human know if a Shared Charter flight is confirmed?
We’ll keep your humans in the loop—updates at least monthly, and your flight is confirmed at least 30 days before takeoff (often way earlier!)
What if a Shared Charter flight is cancelled?
If the minimum number of bookings isn’t met, we let all passengers know the flight is cancelled so your humans can make other plans.
Don’t worry—we’ll offer alternative flights or a full refund to make sure your tail-wagging adventure isn’t ruined.
What documentation is required for me and my human for Charter flights?
We’ll give your humans a checklist just for you—breed, size, shots, and all the goodies needed for a paw-fect flight!
Do PawssengerAir concierges fly on Charters?
Yes! PawssengerAir concierges fly on Shared Charters, delivering the same signature service and tail-wag-approved experience as our standard flights.
For Private Charters, we can arrange a concierge for an additional fee—just have your human reach out for the details.
Are non-canine companions welcome on Charter flights?
Yes! Canine, feline, furry, and feathered family members are welcome on our charter flights—because travel is better together.
What is your Shared Charter cancellation policy?
We accept cancellations made at least 180 days prior to departure. For cancellations made less than 180 days in advance, a refund will only be issued if we are able to fill your human’s seat with another paying passenger. If we cannot fill their seat, neither a refund nor a credit will be provided due to the crowdsourced nature of a Shared Charter flight.
Who can fly PawssengerAir ?
Hi. It’s me. Dog. 🐾
At PawssengerAir, we believe all dogs are good dogs — big dogs, small dogs, shy dogs, dramatic dogs, and dogs who think turbulence is suspicious.
We fly together with other dogs and their humans, so there may be sniffing, staring, tail wagging, and occasional “who dis?” moments onboard. Because of that, if you (the dog) don’t enjoy being around other dogs, get nervous on planes, or feel extra spicy around humans, this might not be your favorite adventure.
No worries though! Before wheels up, a PawssengerAir Concierge will talk to your human to learn all about your vibe — what you love, what you don’t, and what makes you go nope. This helps us keep everyone calm, comfy, and living their best sky life.
Fasten your harness. Snacks may appear. 🦴✈️🐾
Is there a minimum age requirement for humans to book a flight?
Humans needs to play by the rules.
Your human must be 18 or older to book and fly with you. Make sure they have all the proper travel documents—REAL ID, passport, visa, and customs paperwork for international flights.
Are children allowed to fly Pawssenger Air?
Sorry Tiny Humans.
Humans under 10 years old aren’t allowed to fly on PawssengerAir. Safety first… pups second, toddlers third.
What documentation is required for me and my human?
Your human needs valid ID—so no chewing on passports or REAL IDs, okay? 🐶✋
Dogs must have up-to-date vaccination records. Not sure what a vaccine is? Best not to ask.
After booking, our crew will reach out to your human to get details about your size, allergies, and social skills.
For international flights, customs documents are required to show we pups meet all regulations: rabies shots, microchips, recent vet checkups, and tapeworm treatment.
Don’t worry—our concierge team will guide your human through every step so you can focus on treats, naps, and tail wags.
Are there size or breed restrictions?
We love pups of all shapes, sizes, and breeds! 🐶
If you’re flying internationally—especially to the EU—your human should check for breed restrictions so your travel plans stay smooth. Mixed breed? No worries—we’re happy to guide your human through the rules.
Does PawssengerAir require dog training prior to flying?
Humans don’t need training to fly (though it might help 😉). Flying PawssengerAir is a lot like visiting a dog park—stick with your human and socialize as much (or as little) as you like.
Not every pup loves meeting new friends right away, and that’s okay! Our pup intake process helps us understand preferences and plan the best boarding order and seating for a smooth, tail-wagging experience.
Our PawssengerAir crew is fully trained to make sure pups and humans fly safely and comfortably. For everyone’s safety, we reserve the right to refuse boarding to any passenger—human or dog—whose behavior could put others at risk.
How many dogs and humans will be on my flight?
Our flights are perfectly sized for social pups and their humans—typically 10–12 humans and 10–12 dogs per cabin. Plenty of room to stretch, snuggle, and make new friends!
Is there a place to relieve myself on the plane?
Don’t worry—we’ve got grass patches and pads in special areas ready for you.
What about leashes?
Just like humans buckle up, pups must stay on leash—especially on the tarmac, during taxi, takeoff, landing, or any turbulence. Safety first… tail wags second
Are carriers or crates required?
For humans, maybe. For dogs, definitely not.
You can bring a carrier if you like, but no crates in the cabin. Foldable crates? We’ll stash them if there’s room. Otherwise, snuggle up on your human’s lap, the floor, or wherever you feel comfiest.
And hey… if you think you can fly the plane, we’ll have a chat with the pilot and see what’s possible. No promises, but a pup can dream!
My human flies with me, right?
Of course! We know life is ruff without your favorite human by your side (and you definitely need those scratches). Every PawssengerAir ticket covers one dog + one human.
If your human can’t make it, don’t panic—we’ve got paw-some chaperones ready to keep you safe, spoiled, and selfie-ready for an extra fee.
What if I want to bring more than one human?
Each ticket covers one dog + one human. Want to bring an extra human along? Have your human give us a shout—we may be able to add another ticket if space allows.
What can we bring on board? Are there luggage limitations?
Isn't bringing you enough ? Humans can be so needy! Cabin and cargo space is limited, so we ask your human to pack only essentials in a small carry-on. Each human can also bring one 30kg wheeled bag plus a small duffle, which we’ll stow for the flight.
Don’t worry—we’ve got plenty of blankets, treats, and toys onboard for you. Got a special item you can’t live without? Go ahead and have your human sneak it in!
How do boarding order and seating assignments work?
Every flight is a little like a puppy playdate! We organize boarding and seating based on dog size, temperament, and social vibes to keep everyone comfy and happy.
Our cabins are dog-friendly by design, with plenty of space to chill. Dogs don’t have assigned seats—but you’re welcome to cozy up next to your human on the cabin floor for safety, snuggles, and socializing.
Want your own throne? No problem—your human can book an extra ticket so you can sit like a King.
